Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has officially accepted a long-standing celebrity boxing challenge involving fellow actress Iyabo Ojo and entertainment promoter Paul Okoye, escalating a years-long public feud between the parties.
In a post shared on Instagram on Sunday, Anjorin confirmed her readiness to step into the ring, revisiting a challenge first floated years ago by Okoye for a celebrity boxing match between her and Ojo.
“As at today, 3rd May 2026, I accept your challenge,” she wrote.
However, the actress introduced new conditions to the proposed showdown, suggesting a preliminary bout involving her husband before she faces Iyabo Ojo.
“You (Paulo) and Chief Lawal will fight 10 rounds non-stop in the ring. Then the next day, it will be me and Iyabo Ojo in the ring,” she stated.
Anjorin also made a series of provocative remarks directed at both Ojo and Okoye, challenging them to publicly present proof of their assets and achievements as part of the ongoing dispute.
The renewed exchange marks another chapter in a prolonged rivalry between Anjorin and Ojo, which has repeatedly played out across social media platforms, courtrooms, and public statements over the years.
The feud, which reportedly stemmed from professional and personal disagreements, has since escalated into legal battles and frequent public accusations. In 2024, Paul Okoye had proposed a ₦10 million celebrity boxing match between both actresses, an idea that gained attention within Nigeria’s entertainment space.
Tensions further intensified in 2025 when Ojo filed a ₦1 billion defamation suit against Anjorin, although the case was later struck out on procedural grounds, with indications that further legal steps may follow.
