The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, providing guidelines for applicants to check their screening status online.
According to a statement issued by the Board, candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 can now verify whether they have been shortlisted for physical screening and document verification.
Steps to Check Your CDCFIB Recruitment Screening Status
Applicants are required to:
- Visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal at recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
- Log in using the Application Number generated during the registration process.
- Verify their recruitment status on the portal.
- If shortlisted, upload the required credentials and documents.
- Select a preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise.
Carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal to complete the process successfully.
The Board stated that the verification portal will be accessible from Monday, June 15, to Friday, June 20, 2026.
CDCFIB emphasized that the recruitment exercise remains completely free and warned applicants against paying money to agents, individuals, or organizations claiming to offer assistance with shortlisting, document uploads, venue allocation, screening access, or final selection.
The Board also advised applicants to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorized persons purporting to represent the agency, noting that all official updates regarding the exercise will only be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and approved communication channels.
The Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to conducting a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines.
