Nigerian music superstar Davido has explained his absence at a scheduled appearance at Secret’s Palace, attributing the disruption to global challenges, travel complications, and fuel scarcity issues.
The singer made the clarification via his Instagram story, where he expressed regret over missing the event and apologised to fans who turned up expecting to see him perform.
“The world happened to me yesterday,” Davido wrote. “These wars around the world has really started penetrating… finding fuel was a problem yesterday to even fly… everything had to be rescheduled.”
The Afrobeats star explained that logistical difficulties disrupted his travel plans, forcing a last-minute adjustment to his schedule and preventing him from attending the event as planned.
He also extended an apology to fans who gathered at the venue, assuring them that the missed appearance would be made up for soon.
“To my fans that pulled up at Secret’s Palace! Sorry I missed it. We gonna run it back again soon,” he added.
Davido also gave a shout-out to associate Sheyman, congratulating him in the same post.
