The Inspector-General of Police has ordered the transfer of 1,332 officers from the Delta State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, with the full list of affected personnel now released.
According to an internal directive, the officers have been redeployed to various commands across the country as part of an ongoing administrative and operational restructuring within the Force.
The IGP instructed that all affected officers should immediately proceed to their new postings in line with the official signal issued by Force Headquarters.
The directive also requires all receiving commands to document and submit the status of transferred officers, including confirmation of those who have reported or failed to report for duty.
All updates are to be forwarded to the Office of the Inspector-General of Police and the Office of the Force Secretary on or before May 22, 2026.
