A former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has called on Nigerians to join and support the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), urging citizens to align with what he described as a renewed effort to promote good governance and strengthen democratic values.
Kwankwaso made the appeal on Monday through a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, where he emphasised the need for a credible political platform capable of improving citizens’ welfare and creating opportunities for national development.
He said the movement is driven by a commitment to democratic ideals and the belief that Nigerians deserve a system that prioritises their interests.
“We are determined to provide our people with a credible platform where they can thrive and realise their full potential,” he wrote.
Kwankwaso further urged his supporters and other Nigerians to identify with the NDC, describing it as a platform for advancing good governance and true democracy in the country.
“I therefore call on all our dedicated supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to join the NDC and stand with us in this renewed fight for good governance and true democracy,” he added.
