The founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, has stirred conversations ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general election after sharing what he described as a divine revelation concerning three leading presidential contenders.
Speaking during a church service in a video that has since gone viral on social media, the renowned cleric said he received spiritual insight about the candidates while praying, prompting him to speak despite the sensitive nature of electoral politics.
Pastor Chris explained that he holds each of the candidates in high regard and acknowledged their contributions to Nigeria’s development. However, he maintained that his personal admiration for them could not override what he claimed to have seen in the spirit.
According to him, the first candidate appeared to be under the influence of a dark spiritual force without being aware of it.
“I like these guys. These are wonderful people who have done a lot for our country,” he said. “But when I looked in the spirit, I saw that a wicked spirit was wearing the face of the first person. It showed that he doesn’t even know what he is doing while campaigning. He is being used by a spirit of darkness.”
The preacher further claimed that during prayer, the spirit referred to the candidate as “a jackal,” a description he said led him to look up the meaning of the word.
He explained that the term suggested deception, trickery, and acting on behalf of another person for misleading purposes.
Speaking on the second candidate, Pastor Chris said he received an even more alarming message.
“I asked about the second one, and the answer I got was, ‘If you let him get into office, you will have no country.’ I was shocked and asked again, ‘If he gets into office, we will have no country?’ And the answer remained the same,” he stated.
The cleric also spoke about a third candidate, whom he described as being conflicted about the possibility of winning the election.
According to him, the individual appeared determined not to lose but was simultaneously apprehensive about the responsibilities that could come with victory.
“I saw the third one, and he was afraid. He didn’t want to lose, but he was almost scared of winning. I pray that God will give him wings to fly,” Pastor Chris said.
While declining to disclose the identities of the individuals he referenced, the church leader said he chose to exercise caution because of his spiritual relationship with political figures and his desire to avoid influencing the electoral process directly.
Nevertheless, he insisted that he could not ignore what he believed God had revealed to him and urged Nigerians to pray fervently for the future of the country as preparations for the 2027 election gather momentum.
