The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their original result slips.
The examination body disclosed on Wednesday that the original result slips would become available for printing within hours, providing candidates with a key document required for admission processes into tertiary institutions.
According to JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the original result slip contains important information such as the candidate’s photograph, national ranking, and security features used by institutions during post-UTME screening and admission verification.
The board explained that candidates can access and print the document from any internet-enabled device or through accredited business centres.
How to Print Your Original JAMB Result Slip
Candidates can follow these steps:
Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
Log in using the email address and password used during UTME registration.
Click on the “Print Result Slip” option.
Make the required payment if prompted.
Generate and print the original result slip.
Review all details carefully before saving or printing additional copies.
JAMB advised candidates to keep multiple copies of the document, as it will be required during post-UTME registration, admission screening, and other admission-related processes.
The release follows the completion of the 2026 UTME exercise, including the mop-up examination conducted on June 13 for candidates affected by technical and biometric challenges during the main examination.
