The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has commenced the next phase of its 2025 recruitment exercise, directing successful candidates from previous stages to proceed with online verification and profiling.
In a public notice, the Service instructed shortlisted applicants to visit the official recruitment portal at https://updates.customs.gov.ng to complete a designated form as part of the process leading to the final stage of selection.
According to the notice, the portal will remain open until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, 10 May 2026, after which no further submissions will be accepted.
The NCS emphasized that candidates must ensure all information provided on the portal is accurate and valid, as it will form the basis of their updated profiles for the final interview and physical screening stages.
Reiterating its stance on transparency, the Service stated, “the Service wishes to reiterate that it does not solicit payments for recruitment or contact applicants through unofficial channels, as the recruitment process is strictly free and fair.”
The Service also warned applicants to avoid fraudulent messages and rely only on official communication channels for updates regarding the recruitment exercise.
Nigeria Customs further cautioned that it does not contact applicants through unofficial platforms, stressing its commitment to a transparent, fair, and merit-based selection process.
Applicants experiencing challenges have been advised to reach out through the official help desk lines provided by the Service during working hours.
