in Nigeria News, Politics

In the ongoing Judgement, the chairman of the tribunal panel, Justice Haruna Tsammani is reading the judgement on the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, petition.

The case of the APM is on the non-qualification of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima to contest for the presidential position.

According to Tsammani the APM lacks the “locus standi” to challenge the nomination of the candidates of another political party.

Justice Tsammani, further added that section 285(14c), does not allow members of a political party to challenge the nomination of candidates of another political party.
