Wednesday, September 6, 2023
in Nigeria News, Politics

The Tribunal has dismissed Labour Party’s petitions against Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election for lack of merit.

After the court highlighted issues of corruption which Peter Obi of Labour Party claimed were recorded in the elections, the five-man panel ruled that the petitioners have failed to establish their allegations of over-voting and voter suppression.

LP had claimed that the 2023 presidential elections vote was suppressed, Results were inflated and they was over-voting.

However, Tsammani said some paragraphs relating to these claims have been struck out due to their vague and generic nature.

Atiku Abubakar of People Democratic Party Petition reading is currently ongoing.
