The Dangote Refinery has reversed its earlier decision to increase the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol), restoring the price to N1,275 per litre instead of the previously announced N1,350.
According to a report by by TVNEWS, the reversal effectively cancels the N75 upward adjustment that had triggered concerns across the downstream petroleum market, particularly among marketers and depot operators who had begun adjusting their pricing expectations.
The earlier adjustment had raised concerns about potential ripple effects on pump prices nationwide.
