The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced its petrol gantry price from N1,250 per litre to N1,175 per litre, representing a N75 reduction in the ex-depot cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
The latest reduction was disclosed by Imran Muhammad in a post on X on Tuesday, indicating that marketers lifting Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, from the refinery will now pay N1,175 per litre at the gantry.
The new rate represents a decrease from the refinery’s previous ex-depot price and is expected to influence the pricing decisions of fuel marketers nationwide.
While the refinery has yet to issue an official statement on the latest adjustment, marketers and consumers are expected to watch closely for possible reductions at filling stations in the coming days.
