Popular gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, has issued a stern warning to married men who engage in secret relationships with young women, saying such actions will attract severe consequences this year.
Bassey shared the warning during a recent church service, which has since gone viral on social media. The pastor cautioned married men who present themselves as single and deceive young women, taking them to hotels under false pretences.
“If you’re a married man and you go about deceiving young girls, leading them on, some even sleeping with them, I place a demand on the grace of God upon my life. If you try it this year, you won’t survive,” Bassey said.
He further stressed that the shame of such men will be exposed publicly and remembered for a long time. “Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be on social media. If you take a woman to a hotel, lie, and you are married, you will not come out from that hotel,” he added.
Bassey also addressed women who knowingly engage in relationships with married men, warning that pursuing such relationships for financial gain, gifts, or attention could lead to serious consequences.
“You too, you are a lady. If you know that the man is married but pursue him out of greed or desire for attention, you won’t survive it,” he said.
