The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of successful candidates shortlisted for interviews into Junior Secondary School (JSS 1) of the Air Force Military School (AFMS), the Air Force Girls’ Military School (AFGMS), Jos, and other Air Force Secondary Schools for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The announcement was made in a statement published on the Nigerian Air Force’s official website on Wednesday.
According to the Air Force, candidates and their parents can now check the admission lists through the official NAF portals or at designated Air Force Secondary Schools nationwide.
How to Check the 2026/2027 Air Force School Admission List
Candidates can check their admission status by following these steps:
- Visit the Nigerian Air Force official website or the Nigerian Air Force Education Command portal.
- Navigate to the section for the 2026/2027 Air Force Secondary Schools Admission List.
- Search for your name or examination number on the published list.
- Download the sample interview letter available on the portal if you have been shortlisted.
Use the result checker on the website to verify your entrance examination result.
The Air Force noted that sample interview letters have already been uploaded to the portal to guide successful candidates ahead of the interview exercise.
Interview Dates
According to the statement, interviews for candidates seeking admission into the Air Force Military School and the Air Force Girls’ Military School, Jos, will be conducted in two batches;
Batch A: August 3, 2026
Batch B: August 7, 2026
Meanwhile, interviews for candidates seeking admission into other Air Force Secondary Schools across the country will commence on August 18, 2026.
The Air Force advised all shortlisted candidates to carefully review the interview instructions, download the required documents and ensure they arrive at their interview venues on the scheduled dates.
Parents and candidates were also encouraged to use the official result checker on the portal to confirm their examination results and obtain additional information regarding the admission process.
The NAF urged applicants to rely only on its official communication channels for updates and avoid unofficial sources regarding the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
