Speaking before guests at the event, Trump repeatedly complimented the award-winning rapper’s appearance and influence, telling the audience, “How about Nicki Minaj? Do we love Nicki Minaj? I love Nicki Minaj… Skin so beautiful, she’s so beautiful.” He also recounted a light-hearted private conversation in which he asked about her famously long nails, drawing laughter from attendees.
The remarks followed reports that Minaj had expressed admiration for the president, describing herself as one of his biggest supporters, a development that has stirred reactions across social media and political circles.
