Former U.S. President Donald Trump indicated on Monday that he is open to negotiations, stating that both parties are interested in reaching an agreement.
“They want, very much, to make a deal. We’d like to make a deal, too. We’re going to get together today,” Trump said during remarks to reporters.
He added that the outcome of the discussions would determine the next steps. “If it goes well, we’re going to end up with settling this. Otherwise, we’ll just keep bombing our little hearts out,” he stated.
The comments come amid ongoing political and international tensions, where negotiations are seen as a potential path to de-escalate conflicts. Trump’s remarks suggest that talks are scheduled to take place imminently, with both sides reportedly expressing interest in a resolution.
