Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Founder of Salvation Ministries, has revealed that his luxury watch collection is worth over $2 million, linking it to the concept of “Kingdom wealth.”
The cleric made the disclosure during a recent service, responding to viral online reports that had listed some luxury watches owned by prominent Nigerians. According to the reports, Pastor Ibiyeomie’s watches were estimated between N20 million and N140 million, but he clarified that the pieces circulating online are only a small part of his collection.
“Someone gave me a $2 million watch. I haven’t even worn half of my watches. The ones shown on social media are just a few. I have many more. If people saw my entire collection, they’d be shocked. I’m acquiring these watches because I’m solving problems,” Pastor Ibiyeomie said.
He explained that he does not personally buy these watches; instead, they are gifts from a young church member who felt divinely led to present them. He said the young man, who shares a passion for watches, had gifted him timepieces worth $2 million as an act of devotion and blessing.
While addressing the online scrutiny, Pastor Ibiyeomie dismissed critics, saying their attention is misplaced. He emphasised that his focus remains on ministry work and “solving problems” for others, noting that the luxury gifts are a natural manifestation of being blessed by God.
