Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido is set to host his first-ever festival in the United Kingdom, with the highly anticipated “Davido & Friends” scheduled to take place in London this August.
The award-winning singer announced the event on Monday via his X handle, revealing that the festival will hold at the Crystal Palace Bowl on Friday, August 14, 2026.
“For the first time ever, I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th,” he wrote.
The event forms part of the “Palace Bowl Presents” summer series, a lineup of performances slated to run from July 31 to August 16, 2026, at the iconic outdoor venue in South London.
Davido will headline and curate the full-day event, which is expected to feature a lineup of guest artists described as his “friends.” However, the supporting acts have yet to be officially announced.
The festival marks a significant milestone in the singer’s international career, further cementing his influence in the global Afrobeats scene.
The announcement comes months after his 2025 tour in support of his fifth studio album, 5IVE, which saw him perform across major cities in Nigeria, including Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos, as well as stops in Europe.
