Nigerian gospel singer Judikay has joyfully announced the birth of her second child, describing the baby as a divine blessing and a “love gift from God.”
Sharing the news on her Instagram page on Friday, Judikay wrote, “On the 14th of February 2026, we welcomed our second baby: Shekinah Umechukwu Opara; The Breath and Manifest Glory of the Lord. She is God’s literal love gift to us 😁🥰”
The gospel star also reflected on her faith, emphasizing God’s enduring presence in her life:
“Have you seen the Lord fail? Jesus has the final say (scratch that) ONLY say.”
Celebrating the moment with her family, Judikay described the birth as a time of praise:
“We are raising this praise. RIWOTITO HALLELUJAH 🎶 so loud. All Glory to Jesus.”
This joyful announcement comes a year after Judikay shared a heartbreaking miscarriage she experienced in February 2025. She revealed that what began as mild cramps and spotting escalated into heavy bleeding, marking her sixth miscarriage. Doctors performed a D&C procedure due to a missed miscarriage, an ordeal she described as “a pain that almost crushed me.”
Despite previous emotional hardships, Judikay expressed gratitude for the safe arrival of Shekinah, highlighting her resilience and deep faith. The singer’s journey is a testament to hope, perseverance, and the joy of motherhood.
