Nigerian influencer, Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, has responded to criticism from social media personality Martins Vincent Otse over her recent revelation that she is battling Breast cancer.
Blessing CEO had earlier disclosed via Instagram that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and appealed to the public for financial assistance to undergo urgent surgery, including a possible breast amputation.
Her announcement, however, was met with skepticism from VeryDarkMan, who demanded that she provide medical evidence to support her claim, citing concerns about transparency.
Reacting to his comments, Blessing CEO in a now viral video shared on her official Instagram handle, firmly rejected the demand, stating that her medical records are private and not meant for public consumption.
“VeryDarkMan, you are not supposed to go back to someone else’s past. I cannot put out my medical report on social media because it is my privacy,” she said.
The influencer maintained that while she chose to share her health condition publicly, it does not obligate her to release sensitive medical documents online.
Her response has since generated mixed reactions across social media, with some users supporting her stance on medical privacy, while others insist that individuals seeking public donations should be more transparent.
