Nigerian relationship expert and social media personality, Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is seeking financial support for urgent surgery.
The influencer made the disclosure in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page, where she appeared visibly weak and bald, explaining that she had exhausted her personal resources on treatment.
According to her, the situation has left her unable to work, prompting her decision to publicly appeal for help.
“I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. At this point, I urgently need surgery, including a possible amputation, to stop the spread and determine how far the tumour has gone,” she said.
She added that coming forward with such a personal struggle was not easy but necessary given her current condition.
“It was a very difficult decision to come online, but in a situation like this, you can feel powerless. I have not been able to work, and my resources have been exhausted. That is why I am appealing for support,” she stated.
In a follow-up video, Blessing explained that the illness began last year as a lump in her right breast, which was initially diagnosed as non-cancerous after medical tests. However, further examination later revealed that the lump had become cancerous and spread to her left breast.
“It started as a lump, and I was told it wasn’t cancerous, so I didn’t remove it at the time. But later tests showed it was cancer and had spread to the left breast. Now, we are considering an amputation,” she said.
The revelation has sparked reactions across social media, with fans and well-wishers expressing concern and offering support for her recovery.
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers globally, and medical experts stress that early detection and timely treatment significantly improve survival chances.
